A lower end or affordable ebike may not be for everyone but there are plenty of consumers looking for an ebike under $1000. This is why we decided to buy a sub $1000 ebike and to test it out. Our first affordable ebike: The $699 ($664 if you use the promo code “Top5ebikes”) Eunorau z1 commuter ebike.
After riding this ebike for about 40 miles it’s clear this could be a good option for (1) someone who has a commute of 5 or 6 miles each way as the pedal assist range is 15 miles, (2) someone who needs a compact ebike because of limited storage which this ebike fits in a tesla model 3 trunk, and (3) you need an affordable ebike that will actually last.
Watch our full review of this ebike where we covered some of the z1’s specs, unboxing & assembly, road test and our final thoughts. Oh yeah, and we also included a clip of this ebike in the trunk of a tesla model 3.
