News has been swirling around about Juiced Bikes, a major electric bike company focused on high performance ebikes, closing down. Juiced has not officially announced the news but Micah Toll via Electrek published an article about the shut down and also there has been a flurry of posts on the Facebook Group for Juiced Owners where former Juiced employees have confirmed they’ve closed down. In addition, JuicedBikes.com is showing all of their ebikes are out of stock so it’s all pointing toward a collapse of a long time ebike company that seemed to be established.
It’s very unfortunate news that Juiced Bikes has shut down, first and foremost for customers which paid for ebikes who are still waiting on fulfillment of their orders and also they had filled a niche in the electric bike market by producing affordable high performance ebikes. Top5ebikes first review was a Juiced Bike and recently we reviewed a 3rd Juiced ebike so we were pretty familiar with the brand. In general Juiced Bikes were high quality in the affordable price range and we could all expect a high performance ebike.
So what’s next for Juiced Bike owners
We’ll have to wait for the dust to settle on this closure to find out more info, but below are some suggestions for current customers needing support for their current Juiced Ebikes.
- Top5ebikes recommends you visit your local bike shop to find out if they are willing to work on your Juiced Bike and more importantly, can they procure parts as they’re needed.
- Finding resources through groups like Facebook’s Juiced Owners group and the Juiced Group in the ElectricBikeReview forums. These groups have comments listing an ebike repair directory (being managed by jaybrown241@gmail.com)
