Does Aventon offer free shipping?

Aventon offers free shipping to any destination within the continental US for packages weighing 100 pounds or more, including entire bicycles. Shipping rates are calculated for destinations outside the continental US based on package weight and dimensions.

How does the referral program in Aventon works?

Give a friend access to your special referral link and they receive 5% off their first purchase. In turn, you’ll receive 5,000 points that may be applied to any purchase on the Aventon site.

How long does the warranty last? Does the warranty transfer if you resell the bike?

Aventon offers a 2-year warranty on frames, framesets, and components for the original purchaser, with an option for a lifetime warranty on frames if the bike is registered within 90 days of purchase. Batteries are covered for 2 years or up to 300 charging cycles, and accessories have a 1-year warranty. Subsequent owners also receive 2 years of coverage for frames, components, and batteries, and 1 year for accessories. The warranty starts from the date of original retail purchase and transfers to new owners, though coverage may vary.

What is the Aventon return policy?

• Returns of new and unused items within 14 days of receipt. Within 14 days of delivery you have the option to return any item in NEW and UNUSED CONDITION for a full refund without any restocking fees and minus shipping costs. Unless there was a shipment error, the recipient is responsible for paying the return shipping costs for any returns. The same payment method you initially used will be utilized to process your refund.
• Returns of used items  within 30 days after purchase. Used items may be returned with the cost of return postage and a restocking fee equal to fifty percent (50%) of the original purchase price. Items must be in perfect condition. The mileage on electric bikes must be under twenty (20) miles.
• Returns of new and unused items outside the 14-day window. If you want to return something after the 14-day window has passed and it is still brand new and unopened, you can do so with the payment of return shipping costs as well as a restocking fee of twenty percent (20%) of the purchase price.
